Adventure Pack
Imogene bounded up and down the trail as we hiked up the mountain. She made a pass in front of Griff to see if she could get him riled up, but he didn't take the bait. The earth was damp but not muddy in many places, so splatter was kept to a minimum. Racer veered off the trail now and then to sniff around. Arlo stuck to my side more closely - only breaking off from the trail when he had business to attend to. On the way down the mountain, Imogene grabbed up some small sticks and flaunted them in front of Arlo to try to get him going. He often goes for the sticks, but today he abstained.
Variety Pack
Tozai was off making friends as soon as we entered the Valmont Dog Park this afternoon, and he continued to find play buddies in every new dog who showed up. Ruffers would trot over and check out their play. She tried getting in on wrestling a little bit here and there but tapped out when Tozai got them to chase after him. Carl took a while to find a tennis ball and eventually started following me around and barking at me to help him. We located a good one and then he was content fetching it over and over again. One dog joined him and ran alongside him without taking the ball for herself. Carl appreciated that and took a long pause to sniff hello with her before returning with the ball. She continued to run alongside Carl for a bit while Rufferes followed me around and Tozai continued to play up until it was time to go.
