Tuesday Pack Activities (5/26/2026)

Adventure Pack

Racer, Arlo, Lucy, and Imogene headed to Chautauqua for their hike today. Lucy was a bit nervous about being out with a different pack than usual. Instead of greeting everyone with wild wiggles and kisses, she shied away a bit when Arlo and Racer hopped into the car and Arlo sniffed at her face and gave her kisses. When Lucy and Imogene were off leash together, they spent most of the time doing their own things, sniffing different areas on their own times. By the time we got to Ski Jump Trail on the way down, Imogene started making playful moves. Lucy ran around with Imogene then would return to the pack as home base, the same way she does when she plays with Tozai. Racer and Arlo were both mellow and didn't pile on when Lucy would dive into the midst of them with Imogene in pursuit.

Variety Pack

Alfie, Lucy, Tozai, Carl, Ruffers, and Nelly strolled Bear Creek Greenway together this afternoon. Everyone was very intent on checking out the spots that caught their noses, which tended to be the same spots for everyone. Every so often, the dogs would all pull over to the side of the path together to jam their noses around a few square inches of turf. Carl grumbled a bit at a dog whose passed by as we were going through the underpass from Martin Park. Lucy, Tozai, Nelly, and Alfie all took notice of the dog and started to pull ahead a bit, but didn't vocalize their feelings of anticipation like their opinionated little packmate. Ruffers was just enjoying the walk and wasn't particularly concerned about the dog who had everyone else's attention. We just kept moving along, as did the other dog, and the pack's tension evaporated as soon as we were past.
