Adventure Pack

Imogene, Arlo, Griff, and Racer set out at Chautauqua amidst the big, wet snowflakes that were falling, which quickly had everyone soaked. Racer was undeterred in her quest to analyze the ditch by the trail head. Arlo usually wants to pause for a drink from the water bowl at the trail head, but he made no such move today; I guess he figured the whole situation was wet enough already. Imogene ran in big circles around the pack as we hiked across Bluebell-Mesa and Bluebell-Baird, while Griff led the way along the trail. Some friendly hikers asked to say hello to the dogs. Everyone went up to get pets, including Griff. When they stopped, Racer threw her head back into them to demand more attention. They obliged, and that pattern repeated several times before we finally got going again.

Variety Pack

Tozai, Rey, Lumi, Carl, and Viv walked Goose Creek Greenway this afternoon. Tozai and Rey had been wrestling around with each other at the house before we set out. Viv was very interested in Carl, and followed him around. Lumi groaned with expressive enthusiasm while chewing on a bone. The afternoon precipitation took the form of a light mist that fluctuated between liquid and icy states. Viv and Rey did not enjoy getting wet. The boys did not seem bothered by it.
