Adventure Pack

Arlo resisted a bit when the pack headed up Gregory Canyon Trail instead of turning up Saddle Rock Trail toward the stream. When we eventually got to the small stream up Gregory Canyon Trail, he lingered for as long as possible. Griff, Imogene, and Racer all poked around in the water a bit, and then were fine with heading back down, but Arlo just wanted to stay in the water. Once we had made our way back to the Chautauqua meadow, Imogene got into a playful mood and started hopping and dodging around beside her packmates. Arlo seemed to sense the impending storm, and he stopped and tried to take cover in the brush a few times.

Variety Pack

With the cooler weather today, Dylan was able to enjoy a pack outing with his friends! He, Ruffers, Carl, Alfie, and Tozai all headed to Goose Creek Greenway. We strolled at a moderate pace. There was no prairie dog activity. Alfie and Tozai stopped to mark some bushes beside the path. There were a couple off-leash dogs who came along while the pack was lounging on the grassy hill where I took a pack photo. They kept a distance while wagging and watching the pack, and eventually passed by us, minding their manners despite clearly being curious. Meanwhile, Carl was barking at them; Tozai and Alfie were both watching them intently. Ruffers and Dylan noticed the other dogs, but weren't as focused on them as their packmates.
