Adventure Pack

Sputnik munched on a lot of snow again today, even though there isn't much left on the trails. When we did come upon a shaded bank of snow, he camped out and grazed for a while. Racer sniffed around the area without partaking, while Griff and Carl were scouting ahead together. Griff and Carl did a good job of coming back whenever I called them, like when I saw dogs on leash on the trail up ahead of us.

Variety Pack

Zoey, Avo, and Mamacita were all full of playful energy pretty much as soon as we arrived at the Valmont Dog Park this afternoon. Zoey and Avo dodged and chased each other, and Mamacita even joined in for a quick run-by. They continued to play and to greet other dogs at the park, while I did some work cleaning up poop that has unfortunately been left all over the park. Later on in the visit, Mamacita found a male dog that got her feeling pretty spunky, and she hopped and dodged around with him for a couple minutes, then bounded over to where Zoey, Avo, and I were. When we left the park, she hopped into the car on her own again.
