Adventure Pack

Imogene hung back while Racer, Arlo, and Griff enjoyed the water during our first stop at Boulder Creek. She joined Racer the next stop, wading around in shallow water while Racer doggie-paddled against the current for a bit. Griff and Arlo waited on the bank for a bit but eventually climbed down into the water as well, and then Arlo lingered and kept bowing down to soak himself. Racer kept her nose to the ground for most of the walk. Griff pulled over to sniff around every so often. Arlo flopped down for a roll in the grass at Central Park. Imogene hopped around him a bit after he was going at it for a while.

Variety Pack

Scarlet, Carl, Tozai, and Rey also enjoyed a stroll along Boulder Creek Path today. Tozai and Rey got right in the water when they had the chance, Carl and Scarlet picked their way over some rocks in shallower water, only getting their paws wet. Carl and Scarlet kept swapping positions with each other as they walked on one side, while Rey and Tozai kept a steady formation on the other. At one point, Carl tried to dart quickly at something in the brush on the opposite side of the path. I can't remember the last time Carl tried to bolt at something like that. Scarlet made a move too, but I think she was just reacting to Carl's sudden move beside her. Rey and Tozai didn't seem to notice whatever caught Carl's attention, nor did I. We see lots of squirrels that he doesn't react to, and I don't think there are rabbits along that stretch of Boulder Creek. Whatever it was, it will remain a mystery.
