Adventure Pack
Racer, Imogene, Arlo, and Griff hiked Chautauqua today. Arlo seemed a bit spooked early on, the way he gets when he hears thunder, but he was able to shake it off and then seemed more comfortable for the rest of the hike. For the first time in a week, the pack didn't stop to analyze that one rock in the middle of the ascent of Bluebell-Baird Trail. Instead, Griff was very interested in pulling off to the side of the trail to sniff around. Arlo would often follow up behind Griff to leave his mark after him. Imogene and Racer had their own agendas but sometimes checked in on what the boys were sniffing.
Variety Pack
Tozai and Carl had a blast at Valmont Dog Park this afternoon. Tozai headed straight for the nearest dog, and continued from one to the next until he found someone to run around with him. Meanwhile, Carl hovered around me, waiting for me to locate a tennis ball to throw for him. Tozai joined in to chase Carl while Carl fetched, and Tozai managed a few fetches himself. Tozai's attention was split between that and making new friends, while Carl's attention was entirely on me and the tennis ball.
