Adventure Pack

Ruffers did a fair bit of sniffing, but she didn't seem to catch any tracks like the other day; of course, it was easier for me to tell what she was onto when the tracks were clearly visible in the snow. The snow is mostly melted from the trails at Shanahan Ridge, but Dylan still found a patch to roll in while Bear hopped and ran around playfully. Lucy was very interested in all the dogs we passed, and there were quite a few on the trails today. When she wasn't pulling in an effort to go greet other dogs (which we avoided), she walked very nicely with her packmates.

Variety Pack

Archie and Lou had fun playing at the house before the walk, while Lumi and Alfie occupied themselves by chewing bones. Archie gave Lou kisses when we stopped for pack photo time, while Alfie and Lumi took the opportunity to lounge for a minute. Archie got some practice walking at my side, with frequent leg-sweeps to block him pulling ahead. Alfie made a move for a nearby prairie dog during the return leg of the walk. Lumi and Archie were also eyeing it, but kept their composures.
