Adventure Pack
Shanahan Ridge was bustling again today with both human and canine travelers. Tozai and Lucy pulled at their leashes a bit when some of the dogs went by but minded their manners pretty well overall. They had some fun running around, with Lucy playing rabbit as Tozai tried to catch her. Bear and Ruffers were chilled out and took their time on the trail, lingering far behind when they had their turns off leash. At one point, when I stopped to let them catch up, the pack ended up forming a very orderly line and waiting in place until I gave the go-ahead to continue on.
Variety Pack
Alfie, Griff, Carl, and Dylan wanted to sniff every tree, post, and bush along Bear Creek Path this afternoon. We would hardly go five steps after a round of sniffing and marking before someone, usually Carl, would insist on another pit stop to sniff and mark some more, and everybody was eager to join in on the job. As a result, we didn't get very far along the path before Dylan made the executive decision that it was time to turn around and start heading back.
