Adventure Pack

Lucy, Ruffers, Bear, and Tozai passed by the rock on Bluebell-Baird Trail without pausing to check it out today as well, so I guess it has lost its luster. Ruffers took her time when she was off leash, and Bear kept her company as they lingered behind to sniff spots while Lucy, Tozai, and I would hike ahead a bit and then wait for them to catch up, and then sometimes back-track a bit to meet them as they ambled along, poking their noses around to check out every scent on the way.

Variety Pack

Carl, Lumi, Griff, Alfie, and Nelly headed to Bear Creek Greenway this afternoon. Nelly and Alfie wanted to check out the tall grass on the opposite side of the path from the trail marker boulder, and the rest of the pack joined them. Everybody ended up leaving their mark there. Still, Carl insisted on stopping again at the boulder and marking that as well. Lumi, Griff, and Alfie all gave that area a good sniff, as well. Nelly just stood by, ready to move on. It's funny how the dogs have their preferred spots where they like to check in on the neighborhood news. Lumi wanted to make his regular stop at the small tree by the fire hydrant, a little further along. Again, everybody checked the tree out together, but only because Lumi led the way.
