Adventure Pack

Ruffers, Dylan, Bear and Avo took their time poking along the Baseline Trail at the start of our hike. There were a lot of spots to sniff and everyone wanted to make sure they didn't miss anything. The pack put smiles on the faces of a lot of hikers as Avo and Bear bounced up the Chautauqua Trail side-by-side with big smiles while Ruffers and Dylan flanked my sides, working hard and steady to climb the mountain. On our descent, Dylan and Bear were quick to go up to a friendly woman who acknowledged them, and she was happy to reward them with some love. Ruffers and Avo followed up and each got some scritches as well.

Variety Pack

The cloud cover we had this afternoon was nice for such warm weather as the pack headed to the Bear Creek Greenway for our walk. Archie made a few attempts to get Dylan and Griff to play with him, but they ignored his advances until he settled down. We kept a pretty steady pace all along the path, with only a couple stops: once by the tennis courts at the start, and another at the mile-marker boulder near the basketball courts. There was one dog we passed that Archie had a hard time moving on from. He kept spinning back and walking on his hind legs to try to insist that we turn around and greet them. Eventually, we pulled off to the side and let them pass by us.
