Wednesday Pack Activities (12/18/2024)
Adventure Pack
It was chilly with a bit of wind as the pack headed to Enchanted and Kohler Mesas again today. Bear sported a festive bandana. Lucy was pretty excitable today, and jumped and pulled a bit when we passed other dogs on the way up Bluebell Road. Milo and Ruffers took their time sniffing along the trail behind Bear, Lucy and me. Later in the hike, Lucy and Bear got to run around with another friendly dog who was off-leash and heading the same way along the trail as us for a bit.
Variety Pack
Griff, Lumi, Buddy, Alfie, Rey and Milo walked Goose Creek Greenway from Valmont Park this afternoon. The weather had warmed substantially; it was still pretty windy. The pack stayed together in tight formation and kept on pace together throughout the walk. Exceptions were when Buddy jumped toward passers-by a couple times, and when he briefly tried (and somewhat succeeded) to get Lumi worked up by hopping around in front of him and diving at his legs. Rey perked up a little at the sights and sounds of prairie dogs, but she still stayed in place at my side. Surprisingly, Alfie didn't seem to take particular notice of them. Griff and Milo brought up the rear, following my lead with exceptional fidelity the entire outing.
