Adventure Pack

Lucy kept her excitement more contained when she hopped into the packmobile and greeted Bear, as well as when we picked up Dylan; however, it all came bursting out when Ruffers joined us. Ruffers handled the onslaught of attention with the aplomb of a momma dog scolding a naughty puppy, cuffing Lucy's snout without causing her harm. Eventually, Lucy's prodding simmered down to kisses, and finally she sat and stared at Ruffers, waiting for permission to engage. When we hit the trails, Bear and Ruffers did their own things as they explored Shanahan Ridge off leash. Dylan enjoyed the snow with a good roll in it. Lucy was distracted watching Ruffers and Bear, but then started hopping around playfully when she noticed Dylan being goofy next to her.

Variety Pack

Archie wanted Lumi to play while we walked Goose Creek Greenway, and kept trying to stir things up by hopping on his back. While Archie was jumping on Lumi, Buddy kept crossing over to jump at Archie. In the midst of this, Lumi showed his self-possession by not engaging; Alfie and Griff also remained chill throughout the walk and didn't partake in the trouble that Buddy and Archie wanted to stir. When Archie wasn't focused on bugging Lumi, the two of them were often on the same page about where to pull over and sniff around, and the rest of the pack happily followed suit. The prairie dogs were out today and Alfie was certainly taking notice of them, but he didn't try lunging at any of them this time around.
