Adventure Pack

Dylan amused some hikers with his snow-rolling antics at the Chautauqua trail head. Bear waited until we were a little further up the mountain to indulge. He and Lucy had fun tackling each other in the snow back and forth. Lucy did a very good job of keeping calm along with her packmates as we passed other dogs along the way. The trails are getting pretty muddy in some stretches as last week's heavy snowfall continues to melt. The mud came off Dylan, Bear and Lucy easily; Ruffers' flowing coat did not fare so well, and we spent a while back at the packmobile getting as much mud off of her as possible with towels and some water from the CamelBak.

Variety Pack

All the prairie dogs were out and about along Goose Creek Greenway this afternoon. Griff perked up and kept an eye on them for pretty much the entire walk. Alfie was also on alert. He tried lunging at one of the first ones we saw and then whined about not being allowed to pursue, but kept his cool better for the remainder of the walk. Archie took notice of the prairie dogs at first, but was more interested in licking his packmates' faces.
