Adventure Pack

Tozai and Bear didn't really play rough on the hike today - they just sniffed around, and Tozai ran between Bear and the rest of the pack. Lucy was on alert for fauna, as Arlo had been yesterday. Her attention was often directed up to the trees. I couldn't pick out what she was looking at, but my guess is squirrels. Ruffers kept up today - no lingering far behind like she often tends to do.

Variety Pack

The prairie dogs weren't that close to the path, but Nelly still whimpered with concern about them as we made our way along Goose Creek Greenway. They were far enough off that Alfie - who typically gets pretty excited about the prairie dogs - didn't react at all. Griff, Lumi, and Dylan didn't care about the prairie dogs either, and just trotted by while Nelly made noises. We spent a little extra time lounging in the shade on the grassy hill, as Dylan was especially feeling the sun and warmer weather. Dylan and Lumi both got doused with some water from the CamelBak to help cool them off, but nobody was very interested in taking a drink.
