Adventure Pack

The pack made a stop at the stream before heading up Gregory Canyon. Nelly at the edge, with her paws in the shallowest bit of water, so she could reach the stream for a little drink. Ruffers waded around a bit. Bear and Tozai both lay down in the water a few times to really get soaked. We had the trail entirely to ourselves. Nelly was in a bit of a grass-munching mood, and I pulled some out of her mouth when she tried to gobble down a small bundle she had chomped. When we returned to the meadow, Tozai and Bear briefly ran around together, and then headed off to the shade of a small tree far off the trail.

Variety Pack

Buddy and Carl flirted with the most shallowly-covered step into Boulder Creek, but neither stepped down with more than just their front paws. Meanwhile, Lumi was having a good time wading about on his own; Griff and Alfie had no interest in getting in at all. Lumi and Alfie each kept veering off to either side of the path, to walk through the tall weeds, as we made our way along the creek path.
