Adventure Pack
Lucy, Rey, Bear, and Tozai walked Boulder Creek Path today. Everybody got right into the water right from the get-go today, which helped for keeping cool. On the return leg of our walk, Tozai made a startled move much like Carl did yesterday, and I think it was around the same area. I still didn't see anything and none of the other dogs reacted. However, I did notice a couple bunnies at different points in the walk, so maybe that is the explanation behind the mystery reactions.
Variety Pack
The pack was approached by an off-leash dog at Eben G. Fine Park at the beginning of our walk. The dog stopped a little short of coming all the way up and then was herded away by its human. Scarlet was in a bold mood and barked at that dog, and the next dog we passed, and a skateboarder a little bit later. Lumi joined in with a single, stern "woof!" at the skateboarder as well. Griff, Carl, and Rey all remained chill. A bit after that, a couple other off-leash dogs ran toward us in Central Park, barking. They also stopped short and were then herded up by their human. Scarlet didn't bark back at that pair; she just stood in place with the rest of the pack, who calmly waited for the other dogs to settle down.
