Adventure Pack
Bear and Arlo had a blast in the ditch on our way up to the Red Rocks at The Peoples' Crossing today. Ruffers also enjoyed the ditch, but just waded through it in a calm manner, in contrast with the exuberant playfulness of Bear and Arlo. Nelly had a lively bounce in her step, but she stayed out of water; however, she didn't cringe or pull away when I scooped some into my hand and wet her legs, neck, and back to help keep her cool. After going up and down the small mountain, we finished our pack walk along Boulder Creek.
Variety Pack
Alfie, Carl, Buddy, Lumi, and Racer saw a lot of other dogs on their stroll along Boulder Creek Path this afternoon. Buddy got worked up over the first group we passed, but minded his manners along with his packmates for the rest of the walk. Only Lumi and Racer climbed into the creek on our first stop, but everybody enjoyed wading around for a nice, long break on our second stop. Alfie sometimes stopped to sniff a tree trunk here and there along the path, and Carl was always quick to dart over and mark it before the rest of the pack even realized there was anything of interest to be sniffed.
