Adventure Pack

Bear, Racer, Arlo, and Lucy had to skip the first watering spot at Een G. Fine Park again because it was occupied. Arlo's protest was briefer today, as he is starting to get used to the fact that we can't always go there. Arlo, Racer, and Bear were all very excited to get in and get wet when we found a good spot further down the creek. Lucy was more hesitant about getting into the water today - not as much as her sister, Nelly, but she did step in very delicately and didn't go very deep. Lucy was feeling goosey as she got very excited about a few geese who crossed the path in front of us at the Kids' Fishing Pond. The others were fine walking on by, but Lucy kept trying to lunge toward them.

Variety Pack

Alfie, Sanni, Griff, Lumi, Carl, and Kona all headed to Boulder Creek Path as well. Clouds had moved in for the afternoon, which made it feel a lot cooler. Carl and Kona both decided to stay dry while Alfie, Sanni, Griff, and Lumi got into the water at Eben G. Fine Park, next to the bridge, where our usual spot was no longer occupied. We had a pretty mellow walk, with periodic stops where the whole pack swarmed to sniff around a tree or bush along the way - no goose encounters for this troop.
