Adventure Pack

Lucy and Tozai had fun chewing on each other in the packmobile on our way to pick up Ruffers and then on the way to Chautauqua, while Bear and Ruffers kept out of the fray. The trails were surprisingly dry after the day of rain we just had. Still, we did come across a short stretch of clumpy mud. Tozai was irritated by it getting stuck between his pads, and stopped a couple times to pick it out. The others either didn't get it stuck on them or didn't mind it. No deer or turkey sightings today.

Variety Pack

Alfie, Lumi, Carl, Griff, and Buddy headed to Bear Creek Greenway this afternoon. There is a small tree a little past the basketball courts, where Lumi has gotten into the habit of wanting to stop at. When we approached it, he promptly lay down to relax for a minute. Meanwhile, Buddy got right to rolling in the grass. Carl sniffed all around. Griff just hung out in the midst of his packmates. Alfie stared off into the distance at first, then lay down and started sniffing the grass in front of him. After a short break, we got moving again. Buddy was spooked by a roller-skier who passed us; his packmates all took the disturbance in stride.
