Adventure Pack

Sputnik was the one sneezing this morning after he waded through the tall grass beside the Baseline Trail. We spent a little while in the stream by the Gregory Canyon trail head, as Rucksack, Roger Roger, Mamacita, and Sputnik all got their paws wet and had a drink. We headed up the Saddle Rock Trail from there instead of Gregory Canyon today. The incline is slightly steeper but there is more shade from trees along the way. Sputnik was especially mellow when we passed other dogs, and never stiffened up or gave any hint of a growl even when we passed within a few feet of a couple of them.

Variety Pack

Zoey, Roger Roger, Rucksack, and Mamacita enjoyed some nice cloud cover during their walk around Wonderland Lake this afternoon. Zoey wanted to stop to sniff around at a few points along the way, and the rest of the pack were happy to join her in investigating the scents to be found in the grass beside the trail.
