Adventure Pack

Teo joined Lou, Tozai, and Nelly on the hike at Chautauqua today. He started off very excitable when we saw other dogs but gradually grew more and more tame as the hike went on. Tozai was also excited about the other dogs who went by, and pulled toward them sometimes, but with a far less frantic energy than his packmate tends to have. Nelly didn't seem particularly interested in munching on grass today, which was a nice change of pace. Lou lagged behind a bit, especially on our ascent of Bluebell-Baird Trail. She kept up better once the trail flattened out, as well as on the descent.

Variety Pack

Arlo, Lumi, Carl, Alfie, Racer, and Ruffers walked Boulder Creek Path this afternoon. we stopped at one of the small trees on the west side of Eben G. Fine Park, where Carl always insists on sniffing, and everybody spent a while checking it out. once leashes were detangled, we got back on the move. A lot of squirrels were out and about, starting their winter preparations. Alfie, Lumi, and Arlo were all very alert to their presence. Racer and Ruffers trotted along in nice formation beside Alfie. At my other side, Carl kept switching places with Arlo and Lumi, requiring occasional leash adjustments. At one point, Lumi, Carl, and Alfie snagged some bits of what looked like a salami sandwich which was lying along the edge of the path.
