Adventure Pack

Avo was happy to join Sputnik, Ruffers, and Riley for our hike at the Chautauqua this morning. Avo and Ruffers spent some time off leash together. Avo raced up and down the trail; Ruffers was not in the mood to pursue, and just moseyed along, taking her time to sniff along the edge of the trail. Riley was happy hiking alongside Sputnik, and the two of them often pulled over to sniff at spots that Ruffers found.

Variety Pack

Zoey, Carl, Rey, and Lou walked around Wonderland Lake this afternoon. Everyone seemed to be in good moods, and they all stayed calm and pleasant even when we passed by a barking dog in a yard adjacent to the open space trail - though curious little Carl pulled toward the fence a bit because he wanted to check out the source of the ruckus. I was happily surprised at how Rey took the barking dog in stride, as she has been a bit more reactive in recent weeks. Zoey was back to making all of her regular stops, after slacking a bit on her rounds in recent weeks. Lou is getting slightly better at staying seated in place when I step back to get photos of the group, rather than immediately wiggling her way up to me and trying to climb into my lap.
