Adventure Pack
Carl, Ruffers, Alfie, Tozai, and Rey headed to Boulder Creek Path for a hot, sunny pack outing. For the first time I can remember, Carl ventured out into water deep enough to soak his belly. Tozai did his usual move of bowing his chest down into the water. Rey squatted to dip her belly in. Ruffers and Alfie just waded around in elbow-deep water, respectively - Alfie went out to where it was deeper, but it was still on elbow-deep for him. It wasn't bad while we were in the shade, but I could tell Ruffers started to feel the heat once we got past the library, where the shade is spottier. We caught a nice breeze in the shade of the same tree where the pack overlooked a squirrel last week, just over the bridge in the park near where the Farmer's Market is held.
