Adventure Pack
Rey, Griff, Racer, and Arlo all wanted to check out different spots along the connector trail at Shanahan Ridge today, so they spent a while shuffling around each other as I disentangled leashes from each other and from bush branches that got in the way. Rey and Griff spent their off-leash time sniffing a bit further off the trail, but didn't wander very far. Racer and Arlo were happy when I brought them over to one spot where their packmates were poking around, so they got to check out the scents for themselves.
Variety Pack
Alfie, Tozai, Carl, and Dylan headed to Bear Creek Greenway this afternoon. I thought it would be interesting to see if the pack would protest if I didn't bring them to the trail marker boulder we always stop at, but Carl didn't give me the chance. When we were approaching the bend where the boulder lies, Carl started pulling eagerly ahead in anticipation of the stop, and Tozai readily followed his example. So, we made the same stop we always do, and the boys all sniffed and marked the boulders there.
