Adventure Pack

Arlo, Rey, Griff, and Racer headed to Chautauqua, where the damp earth provided plenty of interesting smells to check out. Rey had some pep in her step and nearly took me out when she bumped into the back of my leg while sprinting up the trail. Arlo enjoyed chewing on a stick and shredding up one end of it. When he eventually left it behind, Rey ran back to give it a sniff and then also decided to leave it behind. Racer just trotted along at my side, sniffing on the go. Griff had a noticeable limp at the end of the hike, but I couldn't find anything in his paw pads, so maybe age is just getting to his joints.

Variety Pack

I tried to take the pack to CU South this afternoon, but the area was closed off, so we ended up walking Bear Creek Greenway from Martin Park instead. Carl, Lumi, and Tozai sniffed a lot of tree trunks along the way, with Carl usually leading the investigation. At one point, Tozai kicked up some turf after marking a tree, while Lumi was standing a few feet behind him, and Lumi had no reaction whatsoever to the dirt shower; he actually seemed more annoyed at my attempts to brush the dirt away after.
