Adventure Pack

Sputnik, Griff, and Racer took a flatter route through the Chautauqua meadow, since air quality was poor again today. I think Racer's favorite part of the pack outing was near the end, when we stopped at the Chautauqua Park. She stretched out in the grass beside me as I gave everyone pets in turn, and each time I stopped petting her, she pawed at my arm to request more. Griff's approach to gaining my attention was to sit down directly in front of me. Sputnik made his desire to snuggle clear by walking up and rubbing his head against me.

Variety Pack

Avo and Mamacita enjoyed rolling in the dry, dead grass beside the trail around Wonderland Lake, this afternoon. Later on in the walk, when Mamacita passed on joining Avo for a roll, Riley decided to join her friend in the grass; but instead of rolling around with her, Riley got Avo to play by pawing, hopping, and dodging around with her. Zoey and Mamacita waited patiently at the edge of the trail while their packmates had their fun together.
