Adventure Pack
Racer, Arlo, and Rey were all quite thirsty during today's hike through Chautauqua Meadow to Gregory Canyon. Griff did not partake in drinking from the CamelBak. Perhaps he wasn't as thirsty as his packmates, or perhaps he just saw me taking photos of his packmates while they drank and he didn't want me to catch him in an awkward pose. In any event, he was feeling thirsty by the end of the hike and drank some water from the bowls at the trail head along with everyone else.
Variety Pack
Lucy, Tozai, Ruffers, Nelly, and Carl started panting from pretty early on in our light hike at the CU South trails. We lingered in shady spots and waited for cloud cover that came and went. Tozai, Nelly, and Carl were all pretty thirsty. Ruffers shied away from the water at first, but drank a bit when I tucked it under her lip. Lucy seems a bit wary of the water spout of the CamelBak and took a pass on it. The Variety Pack crew was spared the photographic embarrassment that their Adventure Pack counterparts endured.
