Adventure Pack

Arlo, Racer, Imogene, and Griff trekked the Red Rocks Spur trails again today. There was a group of kids eating their lunches at the base of the red rock formation. Imogene went over and mingled among a few of the kids sitting nearest the trail, for a minute as we passed by, and thankfully didn't try to nab anything from them. Griff was also off leash, but stuck by me, Arlo, and Racer. Arlo and Racer spent the most time in Silver lake Ditch on our way up; Griff and Arlo lingered in the water on our way back down; Imogene was in and out quicker than the others, but also made a detour to the water on her own in between. Imogene grabbed up a stick and chewed on it a bit as she walked, then left it behind after a couple minutes of that. None of the others tried to steal it or snatch it up after she left it, but Arlo did make a couple playful moves in response to Imogene's flaunting of it.

Variety Pack

Tozai, Alfie, Carl, and Dylan walked Boulder Creek Path this afternoon, under cloudy skies. Dylan and Tozai were the only ones who climbed down the stone steps into the creek at the beginning of our hike, while Alfie and Carl opted to stay dry. We didn't have any notable wildlife sightings today. It was just a mellow walk along the path. Dylan paused a couple times as we neared our turn-around point, but he continued on after taking a minute to just stand and look around. It was a good opportunity for the others to practice heeling and patiently waiting for direction. Carl was a bit distractable, and tended to walk off, sniffing around, until he hit the end of his leash. Tozai and Alfie were more attentive, and mostly waited by my side.
