Adventure Pack

The pack was greeted by a wet Golden Retriever as we crossed the bridge over Silver Lake Ditch. Racer, Arlo, Griff, and Imogene were all more interested in getting into the water than in pleasantries, but Arlo and Griff went back over to the Golden Retriever to sniff hello after they had the chance to get a good soak. From there, we looped back down the mountain and set out along Boulder Creek Path. We crossed paths again with the Golden Retriever, who happily greeted us as we went by on the footbridge just pass the Canyon underpass. The dogs got back into the water at Eben G. Fine Park, and Arlo just wanted to stay there. Eventually, I convinced him to climb out and start walking again.

Variety Pack

Scarlett, Carl, and Tozai headed to Bear Creek Greenway under cloudy skies this afternoon. We followed the typical routine of pausing to sniff here and there as we crossed through Martin Park, and then making stops along the walkway as the dogs wanted to check out the scents in the tall brush beside the ditch. Scarlett had some choice words for a rollerblader who zipped by, while Carl and Tozai took the distraction in stride. Everyone was interested to sniff around the boulders by the basketball courts. On the return leg, Scarlett was a little startled by an electric bike that hummed as it went by, but she didn't mind the regular bicycle that followed a moment later. Carl and Tozai were again unbothered.
