Adventure Pack

Tozai, Sanni, and Bear rushed down into Boulder Creek at the beginning of our pack walk. Nelly hung out on the lowest step and got a drink. She winced and ducked away whenever Bear would shake off nearby, but she kept coming back down to the step. Bear came over to check on Nelly, and they sniffed noses for a minute while Tozai lay down to soak and Sanni chilled beside him. Sanni was in the habit of pulling ahead a bit until she switched positions with Tozai; then, everyone stayed in a pretty tight formation.

Variety Pack

It cooled off substantially this afternoon, so the pack headed to the open trails of CU South for a change of scenery. Lumi prompted some stops to sniff, while Griff, Carl, and Alfie were all quick to gather around and join in. Kona was a little slower to amble over and check things out with her packmates, but she usually joined as well. A nice breeze in addition to the clouds and cooler weather made for the most pleasant pack walk in a while. The trails at CU South were pretty empty. We passed one other dog, whom Carl grumbled at as he went by; the rest of the pack was easygoing.
