Adventure Pack

The pack enjoyed another light hike at the CU South Campus Trails this morning. Cooper was pretty worked up about the other dogs at the trail head again and whined profusely when a little herding dog ran over to sniff hello with the pack. Mamacita had an extra bounce in her step today and walked with her ears perked up for much of the time. When we came to the one hill along our path, Cooper was unenthusiastic about making the climb. We took a break for a minute near the base to let him muster up the will to ascend. Sputnik, Rucksack, and Mamacita were happy to sniff around while Cooper caught his breath.

Variety Pack

Stella, Isaac, Sputnik, Colby, and Coco all kept their places very nicely straight from the outset of our walk along the Bear Creek Path this afternoon. Some people gathered in the shade of a big tree at the park commented admiringly on their calm demeanor and steady formation. On the return leg, we made our obligatory stop in the grass at the park so Coco and Stella could enjoy a good wiggle. Sputnik and Isaac both lay down as well, but they only wanted to rest rather than make a spectacle. Colby was relatively relaxed today, as there were no skateboarders around to freak her out.
