Adventure Pack

The pack headed to Eben G. Fine Park to walk to Boulder Creek Path this morning. The creek was coursing fast, and was so high that one of the underpasses along the way was flooded and closed off. The underpass and retaining wall construction at Arapahoe and 13th is finished, so we went through there. Mamacita, Roger Roger, Rucksack, and Sputnik all took advantage of a couple stops at the edge of the creek, as they all got into the water. We also made a stop in a well-shaded, grassy spot. Sputnik found a twig to chew on as he lay in the shade, while the others just took the opportunity to catch their breaths and cool off.

Variety Pack

Griff, Racer, Rey, Zoey, and Isaac were all full of energy when we arrived at Valmont Dog Park this afternoon. Rey played rabbit while Griff and Isaac chased her, then again with Racer and Zoey in pursuit. Everyone chased all the tennis balls they could. Cloud cover kept the heat of the Sun at bay, so the dogs kept going and going. They all splashed around in the kiddie pool some, but Racer and Isaac camped out there for a couple long stretches.
