Adventure Pack

Sputnik was super excited to bound through the snow at the Chautauqua this morning. Dylan happily wiggled around in the snow again today, but wasn't in the mood to run with Sputnik. Instead, he followed along on the trail just behind me, Roger Roger, and Mamacita. We came by a few other dogs, and I put some extra attention into keeping Dylan and Sputnik calm while they passed by, which worked out very well. Roger Roger and Mamacita were calm and friendly with the passing dogs, as usual. Several people commented on how well-mannered and orderly the pack was today.

Variety Pack

Sputnik and Zoey gave each other lots of kisses today when we stopped at the house before out walk, while Poppy looked on, jealous. When Zoey grabbed a toy to chew on, Poppy moved in to get her turn making out with Sputnik. My sister, Heather, and her husband, Peter, are in town, and joined for our pack walk at Wonderland Lake this afternoon. They took the pack's easiest walkers, Mamacita and Zoey, while I managed Sputnik and Poppy. There were a lot of other dogs out walking around the Wonderland Lake Trail. Sputnik and Poppy stayed relatively calm when I put a little distance between them and the passing dogs by moving off the side of the trail.
