Adventure Pack

The Red Rocks side of the trails at Settlers Park were fully opened again today, so the pack hiked our usual, longer route there. We still had some time after we made our way back down the mountain, so we walked the Boulder Creek Path afterward. In both areas, I was glad not to see as much trash scattered around as I had noticed last week. Racer, Griff, and Sputnik had a good time on the trail and on the Boulder Creek Path, with a couple stops in the water along the way.

Variety Pack

Avo, Rey, and Mamacita walked around Wonderland Lake as a cool breeze accompanied the grey clouds overhead. Mamacita seemed to be feeling a little more spry than she has been lately, and had no qualms about keeping up at pace. Avo and Rey were also pretty chipper today, probably due to the cooler weather. The middle of our walk was peppered with light rain and some gusts of air that felt downright cold. I think there were even some scattered, tiny hail balls mixed in among the rain drops. That passed before long, and we finished up out walk at a leisurely pace with a calm demeanor all around.
