Adventure Pack

Bear made lots of stops along Baseline Trail today, but it was to sniff around, rather than to lie in the shade like he had been doing in hotter weather. Rey's nose took over once we were on Bluebell-Baird Trail. She started pulling ahead with her snout to the ground and an alert look in her eyes, like she was tracking something really exciting. Perhaps she detected the deer that have been in the area lately, or some wild turkeys. I didn't see anything at the time, but we did come across a couple deer on our way back down the mountain on Bluebell Road. Tozai tried to chase Carl when they were off-leash together, but Carl just wanted to do his own sniffing around.

Variety Pack

Alfie, Teo, Lou, and Yoshi headed to Goose Creek Greenway this afternoon. Teo was more interested in the prairie dogs than he has been on other outings to the area, but he stopped eyeing them so closely after a bit. Alfie, on the other hand, was less interested in the prairie dogs than he often used to be. Yoshi took note of them but didn't pull at all, while Lou didn't pay them any attention. Teo did well with almost all of the bikes that went by today. The one time he lunged, Yoshi was standing in between and told Teo off for jumping into him, and Teo backed off.
