Adventure Pack

Carl, Bear, Tozai, and Rey enjoyed hiking Anemone Trail and made good time on their way up the mountain. With the cooler, cloudy weather, Bear didn't feel the need to take breaks to lie in the shade. Rey also seemed a bit more energetic than she has been. Carl forged ahead to be the first to check out all the scents along the way. Tozai was full of energy and was happy to press on at a quicker pace. On the way back down, Tozai was giving Rey a hard time; he is so good at stepping back and lying down and politely inviting other dogs to play at the dog park, but he still struggles with minding his manners with his packmates - and with Rey in particular - and continues to act like an annoying puppy who is throwing himself against a tank, even though he is significantly bigger than Rey now. With enough interruptions and practice, he'll hopefully get the idea before much longer.

Variety Pack

Alfie, Lumi, and Lou headed to CU South for their afternoon stroll. We took a very easy pace, as everyone kept stopping to thoroughly investigate various points of interest, and they were all keen on lingering as long as I would let them. It was a very different vibe than the Adventure Pack, who were raring to get on the move earlier today.
