Adventure Pack

Racer, Imogene, Arlo, and Griff hiked up Anemone Trail again today. We encountered a couple friendly dogs along the way. One was a Golden Retriever whom Griff had an extended greeting with ahead of the rest of the pack. The Golden Retriever then came and sniffed hello with everyone else, stood right in the middle of everyone, and looked up at me like he was just another member of the pack waiting for direction. Shortly after, a Husky came up the trail from behind us. He and Arlo both whimpered a little as they passed like ships in the night, while the rest of the pack just stood politely to the side of the trail.

Variety Pack

It took a little while to locate a tennis ball for Carl to play fetch with at Valmont Dog Park this afternoon. Meanwhile, Lumi was sniffing around the perimeter of the park and Tozai was finding playmates. Eventually, Carl found a ball, and we got some fetch going. Tozai ran around with a few different dogs. Lumi kept dunking himself in the kiddie pool and then rolling around in the dirt. He would then go up to people who couldn't help but pet him and give him love as he sat by them and looked up at them with the sweetest smiles.
