Thursday Pack Activities

Adventure Pack

Carl, Griff, Racer and Dylan hit the Chautauqua today. There was a lot of horse poop on the trail, but thankfully none of the dogs tried to roll in it or eat it. There were a few instances of close sniffing, but I was able to redirect attentions before anyone indulged. We again took the new Bluebell-Mesa Trail, which still has some construction materials left lying along it. We were approached by a bouncy, confident, black German Shepherd as we made our way down Bluebell Road. Everyone was eager to get a sniff when he came up to us. After a moment, he ran back to his human, and then returned for a second round of greeting before they passed us.

Variety Pack

Griff, Ruffers, Dylan and Riley walked the Bear Creek Greenway in South Boulder this afternoon. We stop at the mile marker by the basketball courts regularly enough that the pack seems to just assume our trajectory as we approach it. Ruffers also pulled over a couple other times to sniff around in grassy fields along the way. The weather was comfortable, as it has been lately, and it was a very nice afternoon with the pack.
