Adventure Pack

Griff, Racer, and Sputnik had a quiet hike at Shanahan Ridge this morning. There weren't many others out on the trail today, so Sputnik got to roam off leash with Griff; but Racer did more sniffing around than either of them.

Boulder Creek was also pretty quiet today. Zoey, Mamacita, Avo, and Rey pulled over at several spots along the way, to thoroughly investigate scents. Rey is becoming one of the pack's most diligent sniffers. Once she catches a scent, her noses drops to the ground and she follows it single-mindedly until she traces it back to whatever area appears to be the source. Often times, her packmates sniffed around the vicinity more casually until Rey locked in on a spot, and then they all congregated to check out her find - usually some nondescript pile of leaves, a patch of yellow snow, or some particular bit of upturned dirt.
