Wednesday Pack Activities

Morning Pack

Milo, Racer, Blu and Gidget headed to Wonderland Lake for a morning stroll. Racer and Blu were busy putting their noses to work in the grass beside the path. Milo and Gidget did not feel the same compulsion to sniff; they were more attuned to the occasional sights of passing dogs.

Adventure Pack

Gidget, Avo, Ruffers and Dylan enjoyed hiking the mountain at Foothills Park in North Boulder today. Winds had picked up at that time of day, but the mountain shielded us for much of the time we were out. We did get a good blast of wind when we came around the bend at one point. We saw a couple other dogs along the way, and the pack remained calm and friendly even when being barked at.

Variety Pack

Zoey, Rey, Carl and Imogene spent the afternoon walking the Boulder Creek Path as snow flurries began falling ahead of the frigid, wintry front that is moving in. It wasn't cold yet, but the Path was almost empty aside from us. We did pass by a couple kids on trikes at the playground in front of the library, who very excitedly pointed out the pack to their parents and to each other. After that, we passed by a flock of geese who had just crossed our way, and I kept the dogs moving so they didn't have a chance to snatch any coveted goose droppings.
