Adventure Pack

A passing hiker was entertained by the pack enjoying the stream on our way up Mesa Trail today. Tozai shook off in the water, splashing his packmates and causing Bear to immediately shake off in response. On the mesa, Lucy led Tozai in some long sprints, circling the rest of the pack. Bear and Ruffers just poked around near the trail during their off-leash time. I called Bear back to me when we came by another dog, since he has a tendency to charge up. He did a good job coming back to me when I called, before the other dog came close. He, Tozai, and Lucy all sniffed hello as the dog passed by. Ruffers brought up the rear and also took a minute to greet the fellow traveler. The pack greeted a few other dogs on today's hike, as well, and all minded their manners very nicely.

Variety Pack

Alfie, Griff, Lumi, Buddy, and Dylan walked Bear Creek Greenway from Martin Park this afternoon. Buddy enjoyed torpedoing himself across the grass whenever his packmates paused to sniff around a bit, which was only a few times along the way. Despite keeping a fairly heavy pant going, Dylan maintained a steady pace and didn't urge us to make stops. There were a couple trees of interest that drew everyone's noses.
