Adventure Pack

Sputnik was definitely feeling better today. He didn't growl at Avo when I was helping him into the car, even though she crowded his space; and once he was in, he gave her a kiss on the cheek. He accompanied Dylan for off leash time on the Mesa Trail. Dylan led the way and Sputnik bounced back and forth between him and the rest of us. Avo got Ruffers to chase her around later on.

Variety Pack

Petie was much more comfortable at the park with the pack today. I kept him on leash for the first 10 minutes or so, and then let him off. He returned to the gate a few times, but came back to me when I called him. He mostly hung out around me and sniffed hello with the various other dogs at the park. Imogene followed me around with a ball, and eagerly fetched it each time I threw it for her. Rey had an argument with one dog who growled when Rey first ran up. Rey started barking back, and they exchanged words until I was able to get Rey to settle down. After that, she and Carl enjoyed chasing Zoey around. Zoey eventually found someone else at the park with a Chuckit! and then spent the rest of the time getting him to play fetch with her. His Chuckit! came with a special, oversized ball, so he had Zoey's full attention. Rey found another friend to run around with a bit. Mamacita caught the attention of two young boys who were a little too pushy about wanting to mount her, and she came to my side to seek some assistance in shooing them off.
