Adventure Pack

The pack were all captivated by the scents to be found along the Mesa Trail this morning. Colby, Racer, Griff, and Sputnik all sniffed furiously at the snow on a stretch just after the big slope up to the mesa. Later on, we came across a muddy patch along a mountainside stretch of trail and everyone's noses were back to work. Griff and Sputnik were especially interested in the muddy spot and really didn't want to move on, but I hurried them along with concern that they might want to take it a step further and give the mud a taste test.

Variety Pack

Avo and Rey were full of playful puppy energy during our light hike at the CU South Campus trails this afternoon. They hopped around with each other and Avo went for a run up and down the trail at one point. Zoe and Zoey also had a bounce to their steps, but their energy levels were at least a couple notches down from Avo and Rey's. Milo and Isaac brought up the rear and didn't pull at all as kept their places trotting behind me. The pack greeted a couple dogs along the way, including a very affable Golden Retriever who planted himself right in the middle of the pack and wiggled with excitement while sniffing hello with everyone.
