Friday Pack Activities (12/29/2023)

Adventure Pack

Dylan, Lou, Taco and Yoshi headed to Enchanted Mesa for their hike today. The Chautauqua was very busy with both dogs and humans, so the pack stayed on leash. Taco had us make regular stops to sniff around. Dylan was panting from early on as we headed up Bluebell Road but he kept pace beside Lou the whole time. Yoshi didn't pull too much when other dogs went by, but he consistently would turn around to watch them go down the trail after they passed.

Variety Pack

Carl, Yoshi, Monkey, Taco and Ruffers headed to Bear Creek Greenway along with human friends John and Jess for a nice afternoon walk. We made some long stops as all the dogs veered off the path after scents and then took their time sniffing around the area. There were some kids skateboarding across the creek as we approached Martin Park at the end of our walk, and Monkey was very freaked out by the sounds coming from them. We lingered for a bit at a distance from them, in order to demonstrate to Monkey that there was no threat and nothing to run from. Taco, Carl and Yoshi tore up some grass as they waited, and Ruffers just hung out.
