Friday Pack Activities

Adventure Pack

Sputnik seemed to have a little more bounce in his step today than in the past few days, so hopefully his antibiotic treatment is helping him to get over whatever has been ailing him lately. He and Griff waded through shallow water at Boulder Creek while Dylan went farther out and lay down in water that was deep enough to envelope everything but his head. I pulled my phone out to snap a photo, and dropped it into the Creek. I grabbed it up quickly and it seemed to still work, but the touch screen stopped responding a short while later. It is in a bin of rice right now, so no pack photos for today. After that, we made our way down the Boulder Creek Path at a relatively slow pace, stopping for water breaks and sniff sessions periodically along the way.

Variety Pack

Zoey, Carl, Ruffers, and Lou all wanted to sniff in the grass and at the trunks of trees in Martin Park, as we traversed it at the outset of our walk this afternoon. Once we crossed over to the path, we got into a steady pace for the rest of the walk. Ruffers and Lou trotted side-by-side. I was a little more diligent about keeping Carl from pulling ahead, and so he was a little unsure about his place. He kept switching from one side to the other, but mostly fell in line next to Zoey. Every so often, he would hop up and lick at Zoey's chin while she trekked beside him, panting and pretending he wasn't there.
