Adventure Pack

The pack chilled out in the grass at Chautauqua Park before we even started hiking today. Dylan diverted us to the shade a few times early on, when we were heading up the trail. The Chautauqua was very busy, and a lot of hikers had nice things to say about the pack. Sputnik, Dylan, Zoe, and Milo did a lot of panting along the way. Sputnik, Dylan, and Milo all took some water from the CamelBak; Zoe refused when I offered, but was happy to slake her thirst at the fountain when we made it back down to the trail head.

Variety Pack

Ruffers, Zoey, Carl, Rey, and Lou headed to the Bear Creek Greenway for our afternoon stroll. The variety pack was not as put out by the heat as their adventure pack counterparts, but still we moved along at a modest pace, with some long pauses for the dogs to sniff around in grassy, shaded areas.
