Adventure Pack

Riley, Sputnik, and Ruffers were deeply interested in all the smells along the Baseline Trail. We could hardly take three steps without the pack veering off into the grass to follow up on one scent or another. Later on in the hike, when Ruffers and Sputnik were off leash, Ruffers was lingering behind and then wandered off. When she finally heeded my calls and returned to the trail, she was carrying a small deer hoof in her mouth, which I promptly had her drop and leave behind. I was pleasantly surprised that Sputnik hadn't followed Ruffers to the carcass she found, and instead stayed right at my heel with Riley, who was on leash.

Variety Pack

Carl, Zoey, Lou and Rey had a blast running around together at the CU South trails this afternoon. They splashed through puddles and ran around trees and shrubs, while taking turns pursuing one another. After a short while, the chases gave way to a quieter mood of sniffing along the trail together. Gray skies loomed overhead throughout. Thunder crackled in the distance - gradually growing closer - and a light sprinkle started to fall on us as we made our way back to the shelter of the packmobile.
