Adventure Pack Tozai, Ruffers, Rey, and Bear headed to Mesa Trail on this unseasonably warm winter day. There were a lot of families with little kids out, so the pack stayed on leash with me to avoid unwanted approaches. Ruffers drove some early stops to sniff along Bluebell Road. Adventure Pack Racer, Rey, Arlo, and Griff headed to Chautauqua's Mesa Trail today. After taking a long drink from the CamelBak, Arlo and Racer didn't insist on stopping at the stream. Rey was in an odd mood, and grumbled at the first dog we passed on the trail. A little later, she and Griff greeted another off-leash dog and then Rey started grumbling and the other dog barked back at her and the two of them had a brief argument before Rey backed off and came back over to me.

Bonus Pack Ruffers, Dylan, and Alfie went for a neighborhood stroll ahead of the windy day that was coming. Alfie kicked things off by taking off after a rabbit when I didn't have a good grip on his leash right as we started. The rabbit took cover under a porch in a neighbor's yard.
