Adventure Pack Arlo got spooked by something when we first set out, so we spent a long while hanging out at the trail head at The Peoples' Crossing while he gradually settled down. Adventure Pack Nelly stepped down into the water at Silver Lake Ditch with both paws to take a quick drink while Ruffers was still on the bank behind her, and Tozai and Bear were splashing around a little further upstream. The boys had fun chasing each other up and down the various stretches of Red Rocks Trail. Ruffers poked along a bit more slowly today and lingered in the shaded spots. She hung out for a short while at a nice vantage point, to survey the city that is hers.
